The Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan has one of the most important art collections presented in Milan, which can be enjoyed in the Palazzo di Brera. The building, which was property of the Jesuits from 1572, suffered an important remodelation that was done by Maria Richini which lasted one year until 1628. But, subsequently, when the Jesuits dispersed in 1973, the place was left as an astronomic observatory and bookshop that they had founded. After passing through various directors, the place became what it is today, one of the most important art galleries with the largest amount of works of art in the whole city. The Basilica of the Sacré Coeur (Sacred Heart) is located in the heart of the city of Paris and it represents a symbol for all Parisians because from its entrance you can see nearly the whole city. The Leonardo da Vinci National Science and Technology Museum became, quickly, in one of the most visited in Milan. The place opened its doors in 1947 and it´s distributed in three different buildings. The most important of them is the Olivetan monastery that was built in the 16th century. Another tries to present an old art nouveau train station atmosphere and, the last one, is the place which once was the building of Aerial and Maritime Transport. In these three places they distribute all the presentations, like the Computer Science one where, as its name indicated, you can get to know the history of computers since the 17th century, when they created the abacus, until the personal computers presented by IBM. On the other hand there´s also the place named Accoustic where there are different instruments which reproduce historic sounds like the phonograph. But one of the presentations that gave it its currently fame is the gallery with the works of the very own Da Vinci. As well as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées, there´s something characteristic about France and those are the bistros. What are they? One of the most famous in the French capital is, undoubtedly, the one called Benoit, which is considered by locals as one of the most important and, through time, it became a tourist spot for the history that it carries. The bistro in question was founded in 1912 and all the famous people in the history of Paris ate inside. Currently, the company that owns Benoit is called Alain Ducasse Group and the design of the place was attempted to be as similar as possible like it was in the early 1900s, with an air that reminisces of the French theatres of the time. Many claim that the service in Benoit is a tad arrogant, but the people who go there regularly disagree and once that you get to understand the way the place works, you´ll notice that that arrogance is simply of how attentive the waiters are. The Moulin Rouge is the famous cabaret from Paris from over 100 years ago. Known around the world for it´s risqué shows and it´s beautiful girls, it´s today a symbol of the city which is visited by thousands of tourists every day.
