Le Boeuf sur Toit is one of the most famous and renown bistros in the whole of Paris. The place has moved no less than five times since its foundation in 1922, and it finally found its place on Rue Colisée in the 40s.
At first instance, it became famous for the jazz sessions that it presents and, despite not being as constant as before, every week you can enjoy this type of music here. It´s usually on Mondays when these musical shows take place.
The restaurant is now part of the Flo group, who acquired it a few years ago (as they did with many bistros in the city), and it has a very elegant decoration. You just have to rent one of the apartments in Paris and have a look at the restaurant!
Some of the best food that they offer here are related to fish and, to accompany it, there´s a long wine list that go from the more affordable ones to the most expensive ones in France, as well as some from the most important cellars in the world.
