La Cité des Sciences is located in the Parc de la Villette in Paris, where there´s a big field especially dedicated to experimentation in science. But not only does it deal with hard sciences, inside you can learn about health, environment, communication, astronomy and IT.
At te place there are temporary and permanent exhibitions which take place along the year. One of the most striking characteristics which the place has is the Géoda, which is a sphere of 36 metres of diametre which covers three triangular plates of stainless steel. Inside there´s the most visited cinema screen in the whole of France, with a screen which is no less than 1,000 sq metres big.
But you can also enjoy the City of Music, where there´s an amphitheatre and spaces for different bands to play on, the National Music and Dance Conservatory of Paris and the Museum of Music.
For all of these reasons, if you´re in the city, go the the Cité des Sciences, it´s a must visit place. All you got to do for that is rent apartments in Paris and enjoy an exceptional place.
