New Bamboo Center was created in 1997 with the aim of giving the best Oriental flavours to those who live in or visit Helsinki.
Located on Annankatu 29, it has a considerable range of Chinese culinary specialities and it offers a series of original curry dishes from Malaysia.
Despite the distance and the difficulty of acquiring certain ingredients in the northern part of the world, New Bamboo Center strives to use every single ingredient as fresh as possible.
It´s important to know that in this restaurant they do not serve alcoholic drinks, but instead you can sample its wonderful tea at an affordable price.
The opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 11am until 10pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm until 10pm.
Regarding the prices, considering its quality and variety, they´re affordable. There are dishes that cost between 5 and 7€ and the Malaysian curry specialities range from 9 to 12€. If you prefer complete menus, with 12€ you get a starter, main course and dessert.
