´A Arte da Terra´ is one of those places that you can´t miss when you want to buy souvenirs, art or crafts of the highest quality in the city of Lisbon.
The place has a very attractive decoration. It´s an old renovated space that keeps its stone floors and high ceilings, with the charm of the buildings from past centuries.
It´s completely dedicated to Portuguese culture since 2006, with its creators that travelled the whole of Portugal from north to south, and it searches for the craftsmen that make authentic and original pieces to share them with locals and foreigners who visit the shop.
Every year, three or four themed exhibitions take place, with textile products, clay pieces, wood, glass, embroideries and sculptures. The traditional sweets also have their place in ´A Arte da Terra´.
On its webpage it´s also possible to buy some of the pieces that they have available for sale. You only need to write them your details and they will send you a parcel with payment on arrival.
´A Arte da Terra´ is located in a completely tourist area where, as well as the Cathedral and the Sao Jorge Castle, you can also find quite a few of our apartments in Lisbon which are available for rent.
