The city of Barcelona has 3 airports: El Prat, about 20 km from downtown and the airports of Girona (90 km) and Reus (100 km), connected to the Catalan services.
From the Prat airport there are several options: bus, train or taxi.
The fastest way to reach the city center (approx. 35 min.) is the bus (Aerobus). There are two lines, the A1 which connects the city to Terminal 1, and the A2, which connects with the terminal 2. The two buses stop in Plaça Espanya, Calle Urgell / Calle Sepúlveda / Gran Via and Plaça Universitat. It’s worth buying the return ticket (9, 15 €, while one way ticket is 5.30€). A cheaper option (1.45 Eur) is the bus line 46, from Plaça Espanya, but as it is a public bus, it has many stops and travel time can reach almost an hour.
To anyone stopping at the Terminal T2, it is comfortable and fast (20 min.) the train that connects the El Prat airport with Sants Station and also stop at Passeig de Gracia. Between terminals T2 and T1 there is a bus.
If you prefer to go by taxi, the fare is around 30€.
