Atelier Sala d´Art in Barcelona was inaugurated in 1990 with the aim of promoting contemporary painting and its artists on the local and international stage. Located on Pl. Rovira i Trias 9, it´s become a cult place for those who like contemporary art, especially good painting.
Like all contemporary galleries, it has an important selection of artists whose works are exhibited in individual and collective. With its two floors and big rooms, it can hold large exhibitions and carry out activities connected with the exhibitions.
Its opening timetable is from Monday to Friday from 10.30am to 2pm and from 5pm to 8.30pm. On Saturdays it´s open only by prior demand.
The gallery has permanent works and exhibitions of 12 artists, among which we find Adrià Lanuza, Carme Porta, Constantino Mateo, Ferràn Vidal, Equipo Crónica and others. Also, it has a very interesting collection of great 20th century artists such as Antoni Tàpies, Pablo Picasso, Eduardo Chillida, Joan Miró and 14 other works of important artists.
