Prague Autumn Festival is an international music event which has been taking place in the city of Prague for over a decade. It´s a smaller and more renovated version of the Prague Spring Music Festival, probably the biggest symphonic music festival in the Czech Republic. If you love music and you´re in the city, it´s definitely worth leaving your apartments in Prague for, so you can go to a concert or to one of the meetings that this event proposes. Many well known international musicians and orchestras who come from all over the world gather here with the will to exhibit themselves and show their compositions. And therefore, you´ll find opera, camera music and classical music, as well as the obvious experiments which are presented every year at the festival, which propose new ways of conceiving the most traditional music making. In the last 14 years at least 66 orchestras have played here, and the number of participants every year is over 250,000. The festival takes place in the month of September and the stages are spread in various points in the city.
