Barrio Alto

Barrio Alto is a place in Lisbon where, during the day, it has the most relaxed streets in the city while at night it becomes one of the most important places if you want to go for a drink, eat or have a walk with your partner or friends.

 

The place dates from the 16th century and through its streets walked many of Lisbon´s most important artists and writers. In the place you can enjoy traditional or international restaurants, Fado Houses and the most fashionable and cultural bars of the city that are open until late at night.

The main streets of the place are Rua do Norte, Ra da Atalala and Rua do Diário de Noticias and you can get there in any form of transport, either taxi or public transport.
