The Night of Museums is a new enterprise, which first started in the city of Berlin back in 1997, although in several other European cities similar night event were celebrated in different ways. As the White Nights Festival or Scarlet Sails in St. Petersburg. Nightfall is interesting for everyone who is looking for fun, but also art, entertainment and culture. Thus, this crazy idea of having the museum open at night was an immediate success and not just in Europe but also in many other big cities like Buenos Aires, Argentina or New York.
In the city of Berlin, one of the pioneers, the 30th edition of Long Night of Museums will be held on the 28th of January. The schedule to enjoy the night walk around the town is from 18 pm to 2 am. During this period, the adventurers may enter all museums that participate in the event (this opportunity are more than seventy museums participating). There will also be free transportation for those who have the ticket of the Night of Museums. Thus, the organizers are responsible for all to attendees to easily come and better spread art and culture in the city.
The ticket price is an affordable (15 Euros) and there are discounts for students, seniors and the disabled, among others.
