Biciclot is a cooperative of nonprofit associated work dedicated to renting bicycles in Barcelona. This company developed a concept for a business that tries to transform culture and modify the malpractices that deteriorate the environment.
Its offer is directed to the people who are interested in modifying these conducts in favour of a society which is more aware of environmental care, learning how to use the bicycle as a way of transport.
The initiative started with a group of people who needed a job and had a responsible philosophy of life with their community. Despite it starting with the aim of generating self employment, with time it´s become away to see life and giving their philosophy to others.
Among the activities that Biciclot offers are bicycle rental, bicycle tours, education, popular activities and events, fleet management, sales and assessing. It also has interesting offers for residents and rental of special equipment for the handicapped and children. The cost of the renting per hour is of 3 euros per person.
