The Naval Association of Lisbon is the oldest nautical club not only in Portugal but in the whole Iberian Peninsula and one of the thirty oldest ones in Europe.
From its beginnings, the main objective has always been to give support and develop the practice of sailing and also, down the years, they included as well the disciplines of rowing and canoeing.
The sailing courses go from the initiation level, indicated for those who have never had any kind of contact or experience with sailing. With this course, the students learn the basic principles of sailing and they´ll be able to control the boat.
The courses and activities of rowing or canoeing that they offer are also according to the age and level of experience of those who are interested. The courses also have different objectives, like learning to practice the discipline, prepare to compete or amusement experience for those who want to spend a nice and pleasant time, and the latter include coexistance and gastronomic tastings.
