The delirious comedy “Politically Incorrect” is soon arriving at the Condal Theater of the city of Barcelona. Possibly one of the most successful and funny vaudeville comedies that have been interpreted in recent years. The play is based on the work of the English author, actor and producer Ray Cooney who premiered the play with the name “Out of order” in 1990. The original adaptation of this show is by Paco Mir.
The plot of this hilarious play is a rather peculiar romance , the impossible love affair between a minister and a deputy of the opposition, trying, unsuccessfully, to consummate their affair. The plot starts to get complicated with the appearance of a corpse in the window of his hotel room. With the arrival of the disrupted minister assistant , the husband of the deputy, the wife of the minister and the nurse who cares for the mother´s assistant , the story begins to take a few really funny turns. Finally an unscrupulous hotel maid who come into play will try to take advantage of this crazy situation.
A play to enjoy a good time at the theater, laughing and forgetting everyday concerns for a while. Without a doubt, a good therapy to overcome routine. Paco Mir does an excellent job in directing this play, which will have the participation of Pep Ferrer, Josep María Gimeno and Noelia Perez, among many other actors of recognized prestige. It will be represented on the 28th of January and the 4th, 11th and 18th of February at the Teatro Condal of Barcelona.
