The area of Neszmély is labelled on many occasions as the New Zealand of Europe, because it has a very similar climate and it´s there where they make some of the best white wines in the whole continent.
From the vineyards there they get the grapes that, years later, can compete with the most delicious wines from around the world.
HIlltop is a winery located there, which opened in 1991 by the hand of Éva Keresztury, Imre Török, Judit Storcz and Ákos Kamocsay, who still work together today and have a staff of over 100 people.
It all began with the acquisition of cellars in Neszmély and the team got together with a company that makes red wines called Császár, to set up a factory with the highest technology.
From that moment on, they began making fruity wines that are well received by tourists and locals as some of the best wines that there are, and it´s expanding rapidly in the wine market, especially the British one.
