Ca´ Rezzonico is one of the many palaces that we can find in the city of Venice. Built in the 17th century, it´s an architectural masterpiece in itself. Its interior holds works of art in the Museum of the Venetian 18th century. Thousands of tourists come every day to see its interior and all the paintings, sculptures and other works that are exhibited there. The museum and the palace are located in the district of Dorsoduro, on the Grand Canal of the city of Venice, and it´s famous for various reasons. There lived and died the English writer Robert Browning. The decoration of the building was made by Gianbattista Tiepolo who left his signature on the walls and ceilings of Ca´ Rezzonico. Palazzo Grassi is one of the most important and relevant, if not present, of the history of Venice. The place is a palace with a classical construction that is located in the Grand Canal, the most important canal in the city. The project for the fabrication of this building was designated to Giorgio Massari and the construction, that began in 1748, concluded 24 years later. The interesting thing about the palace is that, being surrounded by baroque or bizantine constructions, stands out notably because it´s one of the few that has a classical style. Between 1984 and 1990, the place became a museum managed by Pontus Hultén and, as well, it had an open air theatre with 600 seats but, since 2006, it was acquired by the French entrepreneur François Pinault, who currently exhibits in its place his private art collection. A curious fact is that the place was used as a space so that the famous Hollywood actress Salma Hayek and the son of Pinault could get married. You can visit this beautiful construction and enjoy a very interesting private collection but, before, you should rent apartments in...

The Torre dell´Orlogio, or Clock Tower, is located in the main square in Venice, the Piazza San Marco, and it´s the most famous clock in the city of the gondolas. The building was constructed at the end of the 15th century and in the tower we can see the richness of the city at that time. What can also be observed on the wall of the tower is the Lion of San Marco which is above the clock, in the upper floors, and it´s a sculpture that stands out from the flat wall and it´s located over a dark background which makes it stand out even more. At the tip of the tower, next to the bell, there are two figures, “I Mori” (the moors), sculpted in bronze, who are the ones that ring the bells every hour. The building, like the working mechanism of the clock, was restored and remodeled with the passing of time. They added terraces and they improved the clock itself and today, it all works to perfection in Venice´s big square. If you want to see this beautiful clock, rent apartments in Venice city center and enjoy the city like if it was...
