The Mucha Museum was created with the intention of telling everything related to the life and work of the Art Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha, who lived in between 1860 and 1939. At the place you can find over 100 works by Mucha, who was one of Art Nouveau´s most famous representatives around the world. Among those hundred works you can find lithographies, paintings, drawings, statues, photographs and memorabilia that will take the visitor to the Mucha´s world which is not only beautiful but also interesting. The museum is located in one of Prague´s most famous buildings which was built in the 17th century, called Kaunicky Palace.
