With over 60 years experience, the Ribadouro restaurant and brewery, or “Cervejaria Ribadouro” as it´s called in Portuguese, has become the emblem of traditional Portuguese cuisine in Lisbon, especially when it comes to fish and seafood.
For many decades, due to its closeness with big Lisbon show rooms, Ribadouro has received the most select crowd at the end of these events.
Its location is one of its greatest qualities, right in the middle of Avenida da Liberdade, surrounded by great designer shops, theatres, hotels and well-kept historical buildings and apartments in Lisbon.
The variety of seafood that they serve in the restaurant won´t let you down. More than four types of shrimp, delicious crab from Alaska, oysters, clams, prawns, Cuban lobster, national lobster and even the much-acclaimed goose barnacles you´ll be able to enjoy here.
The meats also have a heavy presence on the menu, with different types available, prepared to your liking. When it comes to meat, the house recommends “Secretos de Porco Preto”, prepared with exquisite pork meat.
It´s advisable to make a booking in advance if possible, due to the great flow of people that the place has, especially on weekends.
