O Madeirense Typical Restaurant

The typical restaurant “O Madeirense” gives us an invitation for a walk with flowers, flavours, aromas and fruits from the island of Madeira.

24 years ago, its owner Manuel Fernandes, opened his first restaurant in Lisbon, we he began to experiment with the typical flavours from his place of origin with his clients. His idea was a success, so he took it to a bigger space, which is where the restaurant is today.

In its stoves the most representative traditional Portuguese food is cooked, above all that from the region of Madeira, with delicious dishes that attract clients with their colours and aromas.

The “from Madeira”, which is the translation of its name, has been given prestigious national and international awards, and it has represented Portugal in contests and fairs around the world.

If you´re staying in one of our apartments in Lisbon which are located in the centre, you´ll be able to get to the restaurant easily, because it´s located inside the Amoreiras Shopping Center, a place full of commercial and service stores, that also has private parking and close-by metro stops.

It´s open from 12pm until 4pm and from 5pm until 11pm.
