Although the traveller who reaches Venice can find the logistics of the city a little bit complicated, due to the canals, the bridges, the lagoons, the ups and downs of the tide, the guild of Venetian traders (let´s remember that this beautiful city grew thanks to international trade) is excellently organized in the Rialto Market. It´s located in a spot taking advantage of a neo-gothic doorway, just next to the Rialto Bridge (the same one that Canaletto immortalized in one of his famous paintings), the Rialto Market is a traditional supply spot where they sell cereal, vegetables and fresh fruit everywhere around it. But if it´s known for something among locals and foreigners it´s for having the best fresh fish in Venice.
If you´d thought of travelling to the City of the Canals, the best thing you can do is book apartments in Venice (there are for large families and groups of friends) and get up early to see the sunrise from the Piazza San Marco (a memorable experience according to those who have done it) and, straight away, go to the Rialto Market and buy some nice fresh fish and some vegetables to accompany it. Lunch in Venice will be unforgettable. We´ll wait for your thoughts.
