Alamillo Park (Parque del Alamillo) is located on the north part of Seville, crossing the homonymous bridge towards El Aljarafe and it´s the most extensive green part of the Andalucian capital. Created for the festivities of the last Universal Exhibition in 1992 on the lands of an old farmhouse, the Sevillian park offers, in its nearly 250 acres, multiple activities thought for all the family members, especially for children. It attempts to become an educational point where the youngest ones can learn the values of nature and for that, they organize multiple workshops and activities, both in the farmhouse area and in the outside area. Also, the park has play areas and it´s also possible to organize birthday parties, which avoids the hassle in the apartments in Seville that you´ve managed to book. It´s possible to arrive there easily, both by public transport and by private car, as well as the extensive bicycle lane network of the city goes well into the park. You cannot miss the area of the lakes or the part of land where you can learn the elements of the most common Mediterranean crops.
