The Ardomar Sailing and Cruise Club was created in 2002 to offers sailing courses and formation for everyone who is interested in practicing and sailing in the area of the great city of Lisbon.
Its founder is an experimented nautical sportsman who, with the activities that the club offers, wants to encourage and publicize sailing in Portugal, as well as entertaining all the locals, tourists and visitors with the sailing trips of one or various days on their boats.
The sailing courses are mainly practical. They show the maneuvers and techniques on board of an authentic sailing boat, which are equipped with the most modern artifacts of recreational sailing: GPS, VHF, auto pilot and others. They´re taught by a teacher for a maximum of five students.
The cruises that they organize are ideal for relaxing holidays, with the landscape, the sea and breeze soft on the face. The sailboats that they have available are equipped with technological navigation elements and with commodities like interior kitchen, restroom and shower.
The boat that they mostly use is always available in the Doca de Recreio de Santo Amaro in the town of Alcántara. In the area we have some of our apartments in Lisbon with beautiful views towards the 25 of April Bridge.
