Cafeteria Mensagem is part of the Altis Hotel, in the neighbourhood area of Belém. Among the monuments there is the “Patron of Discoveries” and the Tower of Belém.
What predominates in Cafeteria Mensagem are the regional Portuguese cuisine dishes, elaborated in an elegant way and looking after the combination of flavours, aromas and colours.
As well as traditional food, they serve international dishes, with a sushi bar and other food. The oysters are local, from the area of Setúbal and the Ría Formosa. The sushi that they offer is in various types of rolls, sashimi, temaki, ceviches and tempuras.
The space that Cafeteria Mensagem is in is attractive and luminous, with glass windows, straight lines and white as the predominant colour. The main room is communicated with a terrace that overlooks the marina of Belém and the Taugus river.
It´s open to the general public every day for breakfast, lunch, dinners and mid-afternoon snacks, from 7am until 11pm. Only the sushi bar and oyster bar close on Mondays. Sundays they have a brunch-type buffet.
Those who stay in our apartments in Lisbon recommend their terrace to freshen up with a cup of tea or a green wine while they go around the spectacular neighbourhood of Belém.
