This next month is full of concerts in New York City, where artists like Meghan Trainor and Ariana Grande and groups like Maroon 5 and Red Hot Chili Peppers will be taking to the stage. Simply seeing the bands perform live is impressive, and now imagine doing it in Manhattan. Pure craziness! If you’re interested, here’s the schedule for the month:
Red Hot Chili Peppers is one of the bands that will rock the Big Apple this month. This group really can say that they have created their own unique style, a mix of funk and other genres, including pop rock, heavy metal, punk and rap. In fact, they are considered the pioneers of punk funk. On March 1, 2015, the Californians who make up the Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform in the BB King Blues Club and Grill in New York City, where one can catch hit songs like Californication (which sold 15 million copies in the late 90s), By the Way, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Stadium Arcaduim and Mother’s Milk. Of course, it’s difficult to guess which ones they’ll play, given that the band has a dozen albums under their belt and each one is better than the last. After several concerts in US, the Red Hot Chili Peppers go on a European tour that will take them to Germany, the UK and Switzerland.
Maroon 5 has always liked to showcase their pop rock around the world. This group has no taboos. Although their records are very different and of various styles, it’s always clear where they come from and where they want to go. This has helped them create works of art such as Harder to Breathe, This Love, Makes me wonder, She Will Be Loved, Sunday Morning or Moves like Jagger, which was collaboration with Christina Aguilera. No time passes. The band, which was founded in Los Angeles in the 90s, hopes to fill Madison Square Garden on March 5. We’re sure that this will come to pass.
At 21, Meghan Trainor is the It Girl at the moment. She became famous for her song about “chubby girls.” Her most famous song to date is All about That Bass and is aimed at those girls who have a few extra kilos but no complexes about it. It tells them not to worry because the magazines always Photoshop the images or that nobody’s body is perfect in every way. Her music has become an example for many women who feel like they shouldn’t exceed size 38. And the moral: What is important is on the inside not the outside. Meghan Trainor will certainly put on a great show on March 13 at Irving Plaza in New York City. Don’t miss it!
Ariana Grande, who hasn’t yet turned 22 years old, has already become a great artist (get it? Grande = great). Although she didn’t start out in music, but in theater and television, when she became famous in 2013 her music was soon heard all over the US. Later, Ariana Grande could be heard on radio stations around the planet with her hit song Problem. If you like her music, you’ll have the opportunity to see her live and in person at Madison Square Garden on March 20.
