Until the 2nd of April, the Centre Georges Pompidou will be exhibiting this collection of art that brings together the paintings of a century. Dance is the central topic of this exhibition and for that, works that were created during the early twentieth century, including some of the twentieth first Century, were collected.

This is the first time that there is an exhibition about dance and the visual arts at the same time in Paris. The modern and contemporary art, which is spread around the rooms of the Pompidou center, leave dazzled audiences around the world that comes to visit it.

The show is not just about paintings; you will also see sculptures on different types of materials, installations and video or audio works. While the artists are exposed, the exhibition is organized around three pillars:

1. The dance of the senses, in which we can enjoy works ranging from Auguste Rodin to the American Matthew Barney.

2. The abstraction of the body, whose main artists are Loie Fuller and Alwin Nikolais.

3. The body as an event.

But many other renowned artists like Pablo Picasso and Alexander Calder among others, will also be exhibited at the museum.

Opening hours are 11 am to 9 pm. The ticket price varies depending on time of year, but around 10 Euros.
