The Louvre Museum, probably one of the most famous in the world and one of the most striking for its pyramidal construction at the entrance, is one of the most known sites in Paris and France. The place, that was originally the Royal Palace, became a public museum at the end of the 18th century and it finds itself in the 1st Arrondissement, in the centre of the city.
