Milan Cathedral, better known as the “Duomo di Milano”, is one of the world´s most beautiful churches. It´s gothic style and it´s grandeur make them unique in the city and it´s admired by Italians and tourists who come to see it.
This cathedral is the fourth biggest in the world, behind the Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican, St. Paul´s in London and Sevilla´s Cathedral in Spain. That´s why it´s the home of the biggest religious events in the world that are organized in the country.
Although the construction of this temple started in the 14th century, it was only finished in the beginning of the 19th by the order of Napoleon who had become tired of seeing this Cathedral half-built. Since then, it´s just like we can see it today.
