When Mozart arrived in Prague in 1787 to do his opera Don Giovanni and he spent most of his time in this villa sampling the best wines in the extensive fields that the country had at that time and, automatically, he fell in love with the place. Actually, this place was where the composer finished his famous opera.
Today, at the Bertramka villa in the city of Prague, you can enjoy the W. A. Mozart Museum where you´ll be able to observe and understand his works and those of his master Frantisek Xaver Dusek and his wife, the soprano Josefina Duskova.
At the place there are seven different rooms that hold the exhibition where they remember the brief but significative moment that the artist spent at the place. The site was restored and the idea was to gather the most important and memorable works as well as instruments, handwritings, letters, prints and other documents.
The best thing in the museum are thirteen pieces of hair that, so they say, belonged to Mozart.
If you´re a classical music lover and want to know this interesting place, the best thing you can do is rent apartments in Prague and see the seven rooms that will introduce you to Mozart´s life.
