Museo de Carruajes

The Museo de Carruajes, for those who love cars and their history, is the best place that they can go to in Sevilla. The museum, which is located in the Plaza de Cuba, finds itself on the lower floor of the hermitage dedicated to the Virgin of Remedios.

The Museo de Carruajes of the Real Club de Enganches was created in 1999 and inside you can enjoy many pulling vehicles in which you can find watering carts, transporting carts and even one used by the Marqués de Alcañices for the wedding of King Alfonso XIII. But that´s not all. You can also see sports cars, hunting cars, country cars and even those that existed before the creation of what we know today as taxis.

There are also the famous buggies, other smaller ones that had the purpose of quick transportation and the carts that the royalty and aristocracy used at the time to make themselves seen. Clearly their cars were a demonstration of richness and power and for that reason they spent fortunes on them.
