The Smashing Pumpkins in Berlin
Billy Corgan and his men come back together on this tour to present their latest work, Oceania, which is the ninth album from this band of alternative rock. Although this album had to be released in September, the launch was postponed to early 2012 (date tbc). This is a continuation of the Teargarden by Kaleidyscope, a conceptual album of 44 songs that the group has returned to its roots and psychedelic influences. The Smashing Pumpkins is an American band, which is quite difficult to classify, because they have influences from grunge, gothic, psychedelic rock, and in their later albums also electronics. Its origin dates back to 1988 in Chicago to coincide with the grunge boom, and when they gave their first concert. In the beginning their music was heavily influenced by bands like The Cure New Order. Its founder Billy Corgan (guitar and vocals). The initial members were James Iha on guitar, D´arcy Wretzky on bass and Jimmy Chamberlin on the drums. Currently, the band also features keyboards and from the original members we can only see its founder, Billy Corgan, who besides being the singer, is the writer and composer of most conceptual issues and the architect of the group. Always worked to try to give some halo subversive to the band. Gish was their first studio album in 1991, with this album they were the opening band for Jane´s Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Guns N ´Roses. The Smashing Pumpkins broke into the mainstream music with their second album, Siamese Dream (1993). With their third album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (1995) sold over 9...Taxi Berlin

Berlin Underground
The Georg von Rauch squat is a good place to begin this adventure in Berlin. its vegetarian restaurant offers you a dish for only 2 euros, as well as live music and an atmosphere which has nothing to do with formal tourism. There are yoga lessons and many activities which people of all ages, races and conditions attend. You won´t find a single visible sign of the restaurant, but that´s no good reason to not give a warm welcome to all attendants. The house is a historical building and those who work at the place do so voluntarily. Another similar place is Kunsthaus Tacheles, which is an art house located in Mitte, on Oranienburger Straße. Its architecture and design are very attractive, it´s built over 9,000 sq metres and in its interior we can find graffiti, paintings by local artists, contemporary art sculptures and murals which are on the walls on the exterior of the house. The building is a collective hostel for artists who lack the resources to pay for rent. Tacheles was originally a department store called Friedrichsstadtpassagen, built in the Jewish district next to the synagogue, after having been a Nazi prison during the Second World War, which was partially destroyed afterwards. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, it was taken by artists and named Tacheles, which means ´speaking clearly´ in Yiddish. At Tacheles there are workshops, a club with live music and a cinema. Bar Zapata is also unmissable for those who like to live the night in a special way. It´s next to Tacheles, which gives it a special touch, and it´s very...Funk Taxi Berlin

Secrets Restaurants in Berlin
All cities of the world cities have secrets restaurants that only a small group of people known, and their fame spread by the word of mouth, because they lie in the gray area of legality. But in recent years this has happened to belong to the dark zone and become a fad. Berlin is not far behind in this culture and its streets are places that only the most experienced know, so I´ll tell you what those restaurants are and how to reach them. The Shy Chef is an underground restaurant in the Kreuzberg district that was created by a chef who lives and works in his kitchen in this multicultural bohemian neighborhood and has become famous among intellectuals and tourists because it concentrates several attractions, including music festivals, flea market and bars with history. The chef daily cooks food for six people who have rated it with the five-star quality (the highest award for a restaurant). So the only way to be able sit at his table, is using his website, where you will be instructed to make a reservation. Following this contact, they will send you the information needed to get to the chef’s home. All we can anticipate is that it is located in an old house typical of the area and perfectly restored. It is not possible to know in advance what the chef is going to cook, since the menu depends on his mood and time of year, but what sure is that you are going to enjoy a gourmet meal, cooked by a top chef and exclusively for you. For five dishes, plus...Vive Berlin
