BAM: Music Festival in Barcelona

Nothing better than going out and listen to some music. The weather is good, and nobody wants to be caught somewhere without much to think or say, the streets of Barcelona are always ready to lots of action and fun. Almost every block from downtown Barcelona has at least one bar available, so with that spirit you have multiple options. If you do not like. Being cought in bars and prefer to walk around, you can buy a beer and walk the streets in the city, of course taking care of where to go. Nowadays the police in Barcelona is more annoying than ever. But do not worry; if you are a tourist or you look like from a “non-European”country, there is a little chance of being disturbed. It seems that the invasion of the right is inevitable and all we are doomed to repeat situations, which, apparently, were  “not to repeat” according to the history. Well, history is made to repeat it, that is what the old saying says, and with all this, outraged, and all the chaos that is stirring up Spain, despite the crisis, people still think that music can sound good, that it´s all about picnics, that festivals are good, so we forget what is happening. The world´s youth culture continues to drecrease. Yes, campings are a symptom that there is an urgent need of change, we want change, that´s enough of financial abuse, It is also enough of just “cool music” “picnic going”. It is like in Barcelona someone had taken over the folk to precisely reduce the power the city once had to...

The Berlin Wall

It is a symbol of the days of Cold War and the German division and was given the title “the death strip”. It also symbolizes the division of Germany from 1961 to 1989. During the days of crisis, the Communist government built this wall to cover the escaping routes of the country to curb the continuous flight of East Germans towards the Western side. The fenced barbed-wire got gradually replaced with thick concrete slabs which were given a special shape to prevent people from clinging to it. The Berlin Wall was a kind of barrier built between East (GDR) and West Berlin for over 28 years. With the end of World War II, the Germany was separated into four zones which were fully under the control of the army. This ushered a period of great depression between East and West. This tension peaked when the Soviet Union closed any type of connection between Western occupation zones of Germany and the West Berlin. It was raised between the two cities to refrain people from having any kind of contacts. Though the people belonging to both the states possessed the same nationality but they have different passports. The border between East and West became a death trap not only in Berlin but in the entire Germany. The soldiers were ordered to fire on anyone trying to cross the border area which was equipped with more and more terrifying equipments such as high voltage fence, land mines, and the barbed wire. The people protested and complained about this system and find numerous ways to meet their family and friends on the other...

InEuroff Festival in Rome

Almost all summer festivals are gone. It is always like that, if you live in Europe, here winters, in some latitudes, tend to be quite rough, and people take refuge indoors for much of the year. Bars and clubs are crowded in winter and with the arrival of spring and summer everyone goes to the streets in herds and travel, seeking the beach, the country or any space that radiates some freedom, light, fresh air, sea, you know, the year has been too hard. In Spain for example, August is the month of holidays many people; everyone leaves the cities seeking relaxation for the whole month. In September the weather is cooler and rather easy to return to the city, for some a stressful or painful, but actually the return to the inevitable. In September the autumn arrives in Rome and in the rest Europe. This is an ideal month to travel and have fun, with less heat to go sightseeing more effectively. While cities recover their usual inhabitants, international tourism is reduced as well as transportation prices; international and domestic flights, buses and trains; the “high” season is left behind. If you want to come to Rome or Europe for holidays, maybe this is the month that suits you, if you like exploring cities. Getting to know the city is a different experience than to explore the beach or the countryside. Cities offer tend to go for cultural attractions, events, restaurants, museums and concerts. The architecture also defines the character of European cities in a dominant fashion. Each city has its landmarks; historical, traditional and modern, that makes...
