Origami Sushihouse Restaurant offers a fusion of Portuguese and Japanese cuisine in a minimalistic and modern atmosphere.
The space of the restaurant divides itself in two floors. The ground floor is for non-smokers and the top one for smokers. There´s also a terrace in a lounge style at the entrance, with views to the river.
The whole decoration has been looked after well, with neutral colour details and with soundproof walls and ceilings that, together with a pleasant background music, make it a perfect stage for the dishes that you can enjoy here.
The culinary proposal of this restaurant is very interesting, as well as the typical Japanese dishes, you can experiment exotic mixes of both traditions, like the sardine nigiri, the Portuguese-style octopus maki, cod maki with capers and many other options that have given it so much popularity and success.
The Origami service works in two ways. During lunch time they serve buffet style and for dinner they serve a tasting menu with ´a la carte´ dishes also available.
It can hold up to 140 people and it´s located in the noble area of the Parque das Naçoes, in Alameda dos Oceanos, a place where some of the most luxurious apartments in Lisbon are.
