If your children are bored during the traditional tourist tours and you don´t know where to take them so that they behave themselves and enjoy the trip, we recommend a very special theme park that they will love and that will offer you an interesting visual and perceptive experience: Parque de Gulliver.
This attraction is worth leaving your apartments in Valencia for, and that you go and enjoy a day out in the open air, walking around this giant reproduction of Gulliver (the protagonist of the famous novel by Jonathan Swift in ´Gulliver´s Travels´), lying on the floor. This giant isn´t just a statue, but it´s made up by a set of slides, stairs, ramps and more fun things, and it´s thought so that children (and adults!) can walk around the different parts of his body.
Around this original sculpture there´s a wide sidewalk full of vegetation and fountains, where many people do some sport or simply walk around. Located in the old riverbed of the river Turia, it´s very close to the City of Arts and Sciences.
The entry is free (the park is open from 10am to 8pm), and the closest metro stop is Alameda.
