Founded in 1965, Piper Club in Rome is an icon of the history of the city. Various generations of youths went through its doors and that converted it into a meeting place, a unique and old place that has to be visited.
In that time, the bar was decorated with original paintings by great artists such as Andy Warhol, Schifano and Piero Manzoni among others. Also, various Italian artists who were just starting performed on its stage, such as Rita Pavone, Patty Pravo and Caterina Caselli.
And little by little, the place started to become well known and there wasn´t a young person in Rome that didn´t want to be there on a Saturday night.
Today it maintains its originality and its relevance, and that´s why all the tourists who arrive in Rome want to come to Piper Club to see what a Roman night is like at pure rhythm.
The social club adapted itself to musical changes, and it played techno, electronica and everything that the world was listening to in each moment of its history. But what it does still preserve is that Roman mystery, that mystique that you can breathe in its rooms and the good taste for music and alcohol.
