Café Império is located in a main artery of the city, surrounded by shops and leisure places, as well as apartments in Lisbon and it´s part of a building which has been awarded a prize by the Portuguese Institute of Architectonic Patrimony.
It was planned in 1947 by the architect Cassiano Branco, and it was finished building in 1952 and inaugurated in 1955 to become a space of enjoyment for the people of Lisbon.
Café Império puts at your disposal three spaces, a cake shop, a large room and the restaurant, which becomes a bar from 11pm.
The specialities of the house are the ´bife´ Império, a steak prepared with the house´s secret recipe, the same one that´s lasted through all these past decades.
As a peculiarity, there´s a space for children in Café Império, where they can play and enjoy themselves while the parents eat and relax for a bit in the bar or in the café.
There are many options and services in this establishment, places with internet connexions for executives or students, spaces to rent and to partake social or corporate activities and the possibility of reserving a menu for groups and companies.
They have accesses for people with reduced mobility and an ATM.
