Have you experienced the thrill of going on a segway? In Málaga there are wonderful tours offered by Segway Malaga Tours, a modern company that makes of this way of transport an interesting entertainment and an efficient advertising tool.
In case you don´t know what a segway is, it´s a transport of two big wheels, unipersonal, gyroscopic and that moves electrically at 12mph. This transport has a computer auto-balance system on the floor, which gives it stability and that moves with the direction of the body.
The tours take approximately two hours and begin at Plaza Jerónimo Cuervo, where they do training prior to the tour to learn how to dominate the segway. After, you go through the city centre, Picasso´s birth house, the Roman theatre, the cathedral and other historical and touristic interest areas.
For security reasons, they give out helmets and reflecting jackets before the start. The bookings are made two days in advance. The 1 hour tour costs 30€, the 2 hour costs 50€ and they only allow refunds when the segway tour didn´t take place.
