The advantages of renting apartments with a view

Arriving in a city and having the feeling of having it all within reach is priceless. Not only is it important for our apartment to be central but also to feel that we are a stone´s throw from everything. The ideal thing, though, is to have an apartment with a view. With a view of the sea, a castle, the main square in the city or the mountains. When you wake up with a wonderful view, it´s the best possible start to the the day .

View of the Eiffel Tower

Getting up in the morning and the Eiffel Tower being the first that you see is priceless. Since it has been there for many decades and you have seen it so many times in films, you will have the feeling that what you have in front of you is a screen. The view of it at night, when it´s lit up, is a stunning visual wonder.

View of the Roman Colosseum

Something similar happens with the Colosseum since it is one of the landmarks that we recognise the most for having studied it over and over again. Having it in front all the time is something you can have if you rent an apartment with a view and, I can assure you, that you will end up counting the number of ´windows´ that this amazing architectonic wonder has. It´s also amazing to look at when it´s lit up at night, with yellow and orange colours. Pure magic.

View of the Grand Place in Brussels

Opening your eyes and looking over this central square is like waking up in the middle of a party, although without the excessive noise. The activity doesn´t stop in the Grand Place, day and night. Looking out of the window and imagining where all those people are going is an immensely pleasant feeling. The views are filled with colour and movement, although the hard part is finding the Manneken Pis, the statue of the little boy urinating, the symbol of the Belgian capital and not as big as you would think.

View of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona

Although Antoni Gaudí´s masterpiece is still unfinished (they estimate that it will be completed in 2026), it´s a unique symbol of the Catalan capital and undoubtedly one of the most visited monuments not just in Barcelona but in the whole of Europe.

View of the Venice canals

This city is all about the canals. The most characteristic view of Venice is the one of the Grand Canal or a smaller one with the gondolas sailing from first thing in the morning. The traffic in the canals is intense and leaning out of the window can be a magnetic exercise. Sleeping in one of these apartments with a view of the canals is the best way to believe that you really are in a floating city.

View of the Danube in Budapest

The typical view of the Danube passing through the Hungarian capital is from Buda to Pest. In other words, always with the famous Parliament in front and the Chain Bridge to the right, one of the most romantic ones in Europe (this is simply a personal opinion). Don´t leave without crossing it, at least, to both sides; the view is amazing. Also, if you take an apartment in one of the most central areas (in front of the Parliament), you´ll see it lit up at night. It looks even bigger and more majestic.
