Gift giving is no easy task, whether for a close relative or friend. Everyone wants to give something appropriate, useful or fun and to avoid what is often an inevitable result: disappointment. We all know what it’s like to open a gift and then have to lie about how much we like it when it would best be simply forgotten.

Personally, I’ve had rather bad luck this year.
