Torre Branca is one of the most attractive tourist points in the city of Milan because it allows its visitors to observe all the city from the highest point. Located in the centre of the city, some call it the Eiffel Tower of Milan, although it´s got nothing to with it. It´s a metallic structure of 108 metres in height that was built in 1933 as work of an international exhibition, that was taking place in the city.
The interesting thing about this structure isn´t its tube shape, but that on the tip of this tower there´s a terrace from where one can observe the totality of Milan and turn 360 degrees.
The tower is in Parque Sempione, close to the Castello Sforzesco, and the tourists who want to go up to the Milanese sky go there. To go up, you don´t have to go up step by step. There´s an elevator that takes one up to the top of the Torre Branca and they allow you to stay a few minutes so you can enjoy the view.
