The owners of the Trigo Latino restaurant say that it was because of their love of the city of Lisbon that they decided to do something for it, which gave them satisfaction as well.
This way, Trigo Latino was born. A space with an eclectic decoration that combines modern and retro touches which are very homely and reminisce of the time of our youth.
In its kitchen they make a fusion of well-known dishes with a latin root and they combine them with spices that the Portuguese ancestors brought back from their travels around the world.
Despite not being a vegetarian restaurant, the menu presents a reasonable amount of options for those who don´t want to eat meat.
As a starter they can choose a delicious mango gazpacho, any of their salads or some crunchy bruschette. For the main course they can choose between pasta, fish, meat and rice which are available, and they can finish with a delicious dessert, such as the pineapple crumble with sour chocolate or the blueberry cheesecake.
The location of the restaurant is in one of the biggest tourist areas, the neighbourhood of Da Sé, close to the cathedral, the Fado Museum and the popular neighbourhood of apartments in Lisbon of the Alfama.
