Zaafran Restaurant Lisbon

Zaafran Restaurant has been named like this as tribute to saffron, an exotic spice of peculiar aroma and colour that´s inspired he decoration and the cuisine of this restaurant.

 

It´s located in the Estefánia area, close to the centre and close to various of our apartments in Lisbon and it´s one of the newest and most elegant restaurants of Inidian inspiration in the city.

 

The menu tries to be the reflection of a voyage, a gastronomic adventure that begins in the Gujarat area of India, through Mozambique and finally arriving in Lisbon.

 

It´s staff say that it´s not trying to be a fusion restaurant but rather a place that reflects the fusion lived by each one of those that shape it.

 

The decoration is elegant, minimalistic with small Oriental details. With an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere at dinner time and more informal and relaxed at lunchtime.

 

Among its dishes we can highlight the kebabs and the Indian naan, the Crab Paneer Tikka Masala curry with coconut as a main course.

 

They have a takeaway service.
