1. Tijuca National Park

One of the most amazing natural reserves in Brazil. A tropical jungle filled with exotic animals, trees and lianas that don´t let the sun come in. Ideal for hiking and guided tours.

2.  The Sambadrome

Without doubt, this is one of the most peculiar places in Rio. Tourists think that during Rio Carnival, the parades flow down the streets of Rio. That´s not entirely true. The Sambadrome is the place where all the samba groups gather. When it´s empty it seems like the Roman Circus Maximum as its empty stands are still impressive even when empty.

3. Maracaná Stadium

What used to be the biggest football stadium in the planet hasn´t lost its charm. It held up to 200,000 people during the final of the 1950 World Cup. If you´re a football lover, you can´t miss it.

4. Rio Modern Art Museum

A spectacular museum that gathers the works of artists from all over the world. If you´re a Star Trek fan, you´re going to love it.

5. Gramarí Beach

Moving away from the famous beaches, we head towards Gramarí, one of Rio´s best kept secrets. Amazing views and a natural environment that will make your jaw drop.

6. Rio de Janeiro Zoo

This zoo is one of the biggest and most amazing zoos in South America. It has over 500 mammals and 1000 reptiles. Al in all, over 350 species, many of them exotic and exclusive to this zoo.

7. Barrashopping Shopping Centre

With 27 acres of space, this is the third biggest shopping centre in Brazil. It is an ideal place to shop and enjoy the modern and luxurious services. Restaurants, boutiques and all sorts of activities.

8. Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro.

A modern conical construction of 96 metres of diameter and 75 metres in height. It´s different to any cathedral you´ve ever seen before.

9. Evening boat ride

One of the privileges of visiting Rio is to be able to enjoy its famous sunsets. Doing so on a boat with views of the city in the background is an unforgettable memory.

10. Rio Water Planet.

The water park of the city is the biggest in Latin America and one of the most beautiful ones in the world. A place for fun for adults and children alike with infinite slides, karts, shows and 42 other attractions. All of this in a natural jungle.
