Potsdamer Platz is very famous in Berlin because it stages every year the Berlin Film Festival, the Berlinale, the film festival is known internationally and the prizes that they give out each year have the shape of a bear. And it´s the Golden Bear which is the maximum prize that an artist can receive in Europe. But it´s not famous only for its present but also for its history. It was there where the first traffic light in Europe was placed. During the Second World War it was bombarded and nearly destroyed entirely. Later, with the construction of the Berlin Wall, it was in the middle of the frontier line and it wasn´t “used” by any of the two Berlins. That way, it deteriorated even further and when Germany re-united after the falling of the Wall, only remains of the square were left. But the Berliners, who felt a great love for Potsdamer Platz because it was a commercial and cultural centre in the past, reconstructed it in less than ten years and today it occupies that social place again, although with a completely different and modern architecture. To visit the square and other tourist attractions, rent apartments in Berlin and enjoy its...

The Neues Museum, New Museum in English, is one of the ones that make up Museum Island in Berlin, where the most important and relevant museums in the city are, who group some of the best collections in the country. It was also closed for over no less than 70 years and this makes that millions of people choose it to see its galleries. The building was built during 1843 and 1855 and, because of the Second World War, it suffered great damages but in 1997 the British architect David Chipperfield was chosen and he did the complicated reconstruction of the building. In 2003 it opened its doors. All the reconstruction was done based on the original plans to try and keep as much of the old design as possible although, as it was expected, the architect added some of his own ideas and the current building isn´t an exact copy of the original one. The place has over two and a half thousand objects in its nearly four thousand sq metres. This makes it into one of the most important and imposing museums in the city and you can see its galleries renting apartments in...

In the city there are many nightclubs with different suggestions that will allow both tourists and locals to feel very comfortable. One of these places is Week-End Club which is one of the most interesting ones because it´s located on the 12th floor of a high building in Alexanderplatz, with an impressive view of the whole city that will take the breath away of more than one. The problem is because it´s such a busy and famous place which is famous in Berlin, not only for the place it´s located in but also for the good music that it plays and because it´s full of jet setters, that getting a seat is very complicated. If you like VIP places which aren´t very big and aren´t full of people so that you can dance freely, not having to wait at the bar a long time and meeting people with the best vibe, Week-End Club is an ideal place to do so. You can rent apartments in Berlin and enjoy one of the most important clubs in the...
