Every city has its customs and its behaviours, which generate common codes and they assimilate us in such a way that only a stranger could break them, and those, in Spain, are called ´guiris´. We will tell you how to avoid being surprised by passers-by acting crazy like a common tourists, so follow these tips. Check your map before leaving, fixate the daily route and walk loosely around the city. It´s not good that they see you in the street looking into an open map because it denotes you condition as a tourist and you´re exposed to discomfort, such as pickpocketing attempts or other nuisances. Never, whatever you do, go out with ridiculous hats, especially those Mexican hats which they wear in souvenir shops, t-shirts with ´I love Barcelona´, and especially with wallets or bags which have ´Barcelona´ written all over them. Remember that shorts are for the beach, especially if they´re flowery ones. The Catalans would never walk with them in the city, and the flip flops after October denote your condition of foreigner, without doubt. Also never go to the beach with shoes with heels or long dresses, leave that for the club. Something which isn´t advisable is to go around with a money belt, because it immediately exposes you as a ´guiri´. If you use it, make it less obvious, and hang it from your shoulder like it´s usually done in the city. Remember that wherever you go, do what you see, so don´t wear anything visible which labels you a ´guiri´, because the Catalans are bored of the rudeness of certain types of tourists, and...

The European Film Festival in Seville is a famous event in which thousands of people, during a whole week, go and see the creations of some of the best European directors. The even is specifically dedicated to European contemporary film and, for that reason, you can see not only the established directors but also those who have just begun and present creations that could mean a great future for them. The aim of the festival is to promote film culture not only by presenting films but also by carrying out events in which you can talk with artists, directors, cameramen and writers. At the end of the festival, a jury panel which belongs to all fields of culture around Europe will give the Golden and Silver awards (Giraldillos) to the best films which were shown during the festival. Also, the public will also have the chance to prize the films which they consider the most interesting through the Public Awards which take place through a popular survey. This event isn´t just made for film fans but also to promote the seventh art from Europe. Those who want to enjoy good films and press conferences with actors and directors can rent apartments in Seville and, also, get to know a beautiful...

Maroon 5, an American band born in California, managed to gain great attention thanks to not only their pop music with touches of funk and rock, but also because its frontman, Adam Levine, managed to steal the heart of many women around the world with his risqué photographic sessions. Today, the artist not only lives off music but he also, on many occasions, works for different fashion labels. The band was born in 1994 with the name Kara´s Flowers but, in 2001, it became known like it is today. The first production, which they called ´Songs About Jane´, was presented in 2002, and they had instant success, taking them towards golden, platinum and triple platinum records in various countries in the world. Despite that the band got together over a decade ago, they only have three albums because they take a long time to produce them. For this reason, since 2002, when they released their first LP, until 2007, they didn´t release anything. That year they released ´It won´t be soon before long´ which has the famous hits ´Makes me wonder´, ´Wake up call´, ´Won´t go home without you´ and ´If I never see your face again´ among others. Their third and latest studio album is ´Hands all over´, which was presented in late 2010 and, also, enjoyed quite a bit of success. Many of their songs flooded the radio stations and are played all around the world. Today, the band is touring around the world to present it.
