Budapest is undoubtedly the world´s city with the greatest abundance of medicinal waters. In fact, there are 123 thermal pools and 400 mineral pools originating from 14 different sources. This thermal bath is one of the few that does not have its own water source. It was built by the Turks in 1565 inside the city walls, and in case of siege, it kept at least one bathroom inside. While not the best known one (the Gellert is still the most famous and popular one), it really deserves a visit when you leave your apartments in Budapest for a relaxing visit . The entrance for women is only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 to 18hrs, while for men it is on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 to 20hs.
