Alessandro Bagnai Gallery Florence

Renaissance Florence is considered a ´museum-city´ due to its architecture full of history and the amount of museums that it possesses. Alessandro Bagnai Gallery is one of those places that certifies the image that the city has and gives continuity to the traditions that art has had since the Renaissance in Florence.

Located on Via del Sole 15r, it has become an open space for young artists and it represents established artists such as Sandro Chia or Mario Schifano. Sandro Chia is a transvanguard painter and sculptor that, until the 1970s, has dedicated himself to conceptual art and, later on, to figurative art. Mario Schifano is a painter who makes collages and other works that belong to Italian post-modernity.

During the year it carries out interesting collective and individual exhibitions, maintaining its philosophical proposals of being a space open to creation and experimentation, two concepts that go hand in hand with contemporary art.

It´s open on Mondays from 3pm until 7pm and from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am until 7pm.

There are very few pleasures in life that leave such a great mark on feelings as art does, so I invite you to rent apartments in Florence and enjoy a tour walking around its millenary history of art.
