Borgo SS Apostoli is an old area of Florence that takes its name from the church of the Holy Apostles, and belongs to the Carolingian period. In this beautiful place, surrounded by history, we can find Aria Art Gallery, a space dedicated to art.
In this gallery, the present and the past merge. In the beautiful garden that shows the way to the gallery, created by Margarita Acciauoli, the wife of the Florentine patron Pierfrancesco Borgherini- has been fitted for the exhibition of modern sculptures that stand out creating a beautiful effect between what´s old and what´s new.
Located on Borgo SS Apostoli 40r, Aria Art Gallery has transformed into an open meeting space for emerging and consecrated artists, with promotion quality art being the main objective.
It also has a magnificent art collection made up by works by Andy Warhol, Auguste Rodin, Amedeo Modigliani, Salvatore Provino, Arturo Carmassi and Villano Tarabella.
It´s also an open space for events and other cultural activities that are within its philosophy of promotion of art and culture. It´s open from Monday to Saturday from 10.30am to 7.30pm, closing two hours in the afternoon. On Sundays they only open with a previous booking.
