El Born

Despite that in its beginnings El Born was a place which wasn´t highly appreciated neither by tourists or by locals in Barcelona, bit by bit it became one of the districts where you find the trendiest of places.

 

Every day both cafes and night bars are full of people who decide to go for a long walk with friends, couples or with the family. In el Born there is a lot of culture in the air because we´re talking about a medieval district which still holds that appearance. On Montcada street there is the Picasso Museum or the Museo Textil, as well as the beautiful cathedral of Santa María del Mar, which we can visit when there´s a wedding taking place.

 

Currently one of the reasons why people go to El Born is because of the boutiques that it has, which present innovative designs at a reduced price.

 

Arriving in Born is very simple because you can get there either by metro or bus and, of course, by taxi. This place is one of the most interesting ones that the city has today and you can´t not visit it. You can rent apartments in Barcelona and visit this district full of cultural diversity.
