The Ghione Theatre is located a few steps away from The Vatican, on Via Fornaci, and it belongs to the theatre company founded by the actress Ileana Ghione, who has the same name. The theatre company specializes in the representation of classic theatre with modern adaptations.
The room has a capacity for 500 people and inside different activities take place, like the Theatre Laboratory, open twice a year for actors and actresses who want to explore new interpretations and dramatic expressions. Also, there are courses for diction, expression, breathing, history of theatre and scenic improvisation, among others.
The costs for the programme are subject to the season, and the tickets range from 11 to 16 euros, depending on the day of the week. Also, there´s the Gold ticket which is a season ticket.
