One of the classic ones in Madrid is the one of Mariano Madrueño, that opened its doors in 1895 as a distillery of liqueurs, syrups, vermouth and wines in Villaverde. But at that time, they only commercialized with what they produced themselves.
But after the Spanish Civil War, Mariano Madrueño the second took charge of the winery and, despite maintaining it as a distillery, he began to sell different brands. And in 1978, after having studied a lot of agronomy and oenology, Mariano Madrueño took charge of the place.
The idea behind this place is to select the best wines from the Spanish regions and trying to find a coherent relationship between price and quality. For this reason, you´ll be able to find reasonable offers at low prices and, of course, some other elevated ones for very special moments.
