The Musée Des Beaux Arts, which finds itself in the Pétit Palais, is one of the most visited museums in Paris because it´s in one of the most representative buildings in the city.
The place, after a remodelation and expansion which took the government five years, opened its doors again in 2005 and many expert art critics claim that thanks to its valuable works of art that it houses, it´s like a mini Louvre (the most important museum in France) but without the amount of people that there are there which, many times, annoys the visitors.
In the place you can also enjoy various collections that go from urns from Ancient Greece to medieval paintings or a self-portrait of Rembrandt. There are also sculptures of Louis XV that represent French impressionism and ceramics of Art Nouveau from Odilon Redon.
